Description Role Overview

Frontgrade Technologies seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to provide interim coverage for approx 3 months This role is critical in maintaining accounting operations across multiple U.S. manufacturing sites and the corporate entity. The consultant will lead month-end close, oversee GL accuracy across multiple ERPs, and support the financial audit.

The engagement will require strong leadership, manufacturing industry expertise, and the ability to manage a distributed accounting team while maintaining precision in a complex, multi-ERP environment.

Core Responsibilities

Oversee all General Ledger accounting functions (excludes revenue and cost accounting) for a manufacturing organization.

Cash, assets, fixed assets, liabilities, debt, and derivatives oversight (entries/recons prepared by external consultant)

Manage and review monthly account reconciliations.

Manage month-end and year-end close

Prepare and review cash flow forecasts and related analyses

Serve as primary contact for the external audit (interim testing in progress; year-end to follow)

Oversee consolidation across multiple ERPs into Oracle (monthly consolidation)

Review and assemble close workbooks for close and audit deliverables

Supervise and support five remote accountants,

Ensure process consistency, accuracy, and completeness of financial data across entities

Key Skills & Systems

Oracle Consolidation Experience – Required

Hands-on experience consolidating multi-entity results into Oracle

Visual Manufacturing ERP – Preferred, but not required

Working familiarity with Visual ERP data structures or prior experience supporting a manufacturing site using Visual

Proficiency in multi-ERP environments (Epicor, CAM, QuickBooks)

Advanced Excel: complex reconciliations, workbook design, audit templates

Strong understanding of GL, balance sheet management, and audit readiness

Familiarity with derivative accounting concepts and external consultant coordination

Ability to manage remote accounting teams and maintain accountability

US citizenship is required.

Workload & Schedule

Close Weeks: up to 60 hours (heavy final few days)

Non-Close Weeks: standard 8 a.m.–5 p.m. schedule
