Description We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. This role requires an individual with strong expertise in employee relations and HR administration, along with a talent for mentoring leadership and fostering engagement. The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting organizational goals through effective communication and comprehensive HR practices.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee employee relations processes, addressing workplace concerns and ensuring compliance with regulations.

• Guide and mentor leadership on handling complex employee issues, promoting effective communication and conflict resolution.

• Provide insights on legal implications related to HR matters and advise leaders accordingly.

• Manage day-to-day HR operations, ensuring smooth implementation of policies, procedures, and best practices.

• Facilitate employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and productive work environment.

• Administer benefits programs, ensuring employees understand and utilize available resources.

• Handle workers’ compensation processes, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.

• Support onboarding processes to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the organization.

• Utilize HRIS systems to manage employee data and streamline administrative tasks.

• Collaborate with the VP of HR to align operational HR activities with strategic goals. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on employee relations.

• Proven ability to mentor and guide leadership through sensitive workplace issues.

• Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations, with the ability to communicate legal ramifications effectively.

• Experience managing benefits programs and workers’ compensation processes.

• Proficiency in HRIS systems and other HR-related software.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage employees at all levels.

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
