    Description

    Robert Half is working with a client in the property management industry to fill an Accounting Clerk position.     Key Responsibilities:

    + Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including verifying, coding, and posting invoices (Source: RH Salary Guide 2026).

    + Manage reimbursement requests and expense reports for compliance and accuracy.

    + Reconcile general ledger accounts and provide monthly reconciliations for bank and credit card statements (Source: RH Salary Guide 2026).

    + Assist in preparing financial reports, analyzing variances, and ensuring accurate documentation of entries.

    + Collaborate with property management teams to ensure accurate tenant billing and collection.

    + Perform data entry for vendor and tenant records while maintaining confidentiality.

    + Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

    Requirements

    + 1+ years of experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role.

    + Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks experience is a plus).

    + Strong working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

    + Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

    + Ability to meet deadlines in a multi-tasking environment.

    + Experience in property management accounting is preferred but not required.
