Are you organized, detail-oriented, and looking to build your career in accounting? Robert Half is seeking an enthusiastic Accounting Clerk to assist with essential financial operations for our clients! As an Accounting Clerk, you will play an essential role in supporting day-to-day financial activities. From maintaining accurate accounting records to processing transactions, your work will ensure the smooth functioning of organizational finances.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Perform data entry to record and update financial transactions.

+ Assist in reconciling bank accounts and resolving discrepancies.

+ Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and payment tracking.

+ Manage and file accounting and financial records systematically.

+ Support month-end and year-end closing processes as needed.

+ Collaborate with team members to address financial inquiries or discrepancies.

+ Maintain accuracy and compliance with accounting practices and policies.

Requirements

+ Proven experience in a similar role, such as Accounting Clerk, Bookkeeper, or Accounts Assistant.

+ Strong proficiency with Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).

+ Familiarity with basic accounting principles and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).

+ Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.

+ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

+ High school diploma required; an associate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
