About the Job
We are seeking a highly motivated Portfolio (Product &
Technology) Finance Team Lead to join our Brightly Software organization. The
role will partner closely with the Brightly Software SVP-Head of Product,
SVP-Head of Technology and global product and technology organization to
provide financial planning, controlling, analysis, and strategic insights that
drive innovation and operational excellence. The ideal candidate has strong
experience in SaaS businesses, R&D cost structures and financial leadership.
Additionally, together with the Product and Technology
teams, this role will push the digitalization and automation of financial
planning, controlling and reporting processes at Brightly to the next level.
What you will do
Portfolio Finance Team Lead
Role Overview:
Partner with the SVP-Head of Product, SVP-Head of Technology and global product
and technology organization to support all financial planning, forecasting,
controlling and reconciliation of Software financial metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
+ **FinancialPlanning & Analysis (FP&A):** Lead planning,budgeting, forecasting, controlling and analysis for product andtechnology functions. Build and maintain financial models in anAgile manner to support data driven decision-making.
+ **BusinessPartnering:** Act as a strategic financial partnerto Product and Technology leadership, providing insights on costoptimizations, return on investment and resource allocation.Collaborate with the Product and Technology teams to align financial planswith product roadmaps.
+ **SoftwareCost Management:** Provide financial oversight ofsoftware-related costs, including third party licenses and cloudinfrastructure costs. Partner with the Product, Technology, Procurementand Cloud Operations teams to forecast, trackand optimize software and cloud infrastructure spend. Providefinancial support for newly introduced FinOps processes together with theHead of Global Cloud Operations.
+ **HeadcountManagement:** Partner with Product, Technology andP&O teams to build and maintain accurate headcountplans that are aligned with the financial budget, forecasts andproduct roadmaps. Analyze open positions, hiring progress and attrition toensure alignment with financial targets.
+ **ContractorManagement:** Partner with Product, Technology,P&O and Procurement teams to manage financial tracking and reportingfor contractors, including cost forecasting and cost optimization.
+ **M&ADue Diligence & Financial Integration:** Supportfinancial due diligence and post-acquisition integration.
+ **ManagementReporting:** Prepare monthly / quarterlyfinancial reports and variance analysis to drive and support data drivenmanagement decisions.
+ **Ad-hocReporting:** Prepare ad-hoc reports such asR&D and ESG reports.
+ **TeamLeadership:** Manage a team of financial analyststo drive transparency, digitalization, automation andoperational improvements, and incorporate AI in financial planning,reporting and analysis.
What you need
+ 8+years of experience in Software finance
+ Education: Bachelor’sor Master’s degree in finance or related field
+ Experiencewith global software R&D operations.
+ Software:Business Intelligence Tooling such Power BI, Tableau or similar,Salesforce, ERP Software, MS Office.
+ Self-Drivenand motivated professional, experienced with Financial Controlling andModelling in a Software Business. Eager to learn and shape thecontrolling landscape at Brightly Software.
+ Stronginterpersonal skills, to motivate and facilitate discussionswith collaborators from different teams / departments
+ Outstandingcommunication skills, enthusiasm, and team-oriented demeanor
+ Adeptat establishing relationships with business partners andinfluencing at all levels
