    We are currently seeking a*Staff Nurse*to join our North Loop Clinic in Minneapolis, MN (located on Washington Ave in the Warehouse District). This is a full-time position (80 hours per pay period) and will work day shift.

    *_RESPONSIBILITIES_*

    Within the context of the Hennepin Healthcare System Relationship-Based Care practice model, and under general supervision, the registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care by:

    * Protecting, promoting wellness and optimizing health

    * Triaging patients by assessing severity of symptoms and referral to appropriate setting or level of care

    * Alleviating suffering through the treatment of the human response

    * Partnering with the patient, their family and significant others

    * Documenting interventions and an individualized plan of care

    * Educating patient on their disease process

    * Assuring continuity of care

    * Educating patient and family in preventative care which promotes health and well being

    *_QUALIFICATIONS_*

    /*Minimum Qualifications:*/

    * Graduation from an accredited school of nursing

    * Possession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of Minnesota

    * Two or more years of prior Staff Nurse RN experience in a clinical setting

    * Certification in area of clinical specialty

    * BSN Preferred. Bachelor of Nursing degree is strongly encouraged. Advancement in academic education will be discussed as part of individual professional development during the annual performance review.
