    Job Details

    Responsibilities:

    + Responsible for the planning, administering, and directing speech therapy services cardiac, orthopedic, neurologic, vascular, pulmonary and medical-surgical patients

    + Educate patient and family members in recommendations for diet modifications

    + Work with interdisciplinary team for plan of care

    + Knowledge of hospital, Joint Commission, state and federal guidelines

    Requirements:

    + + Master's degree in speech-language pathology required.

    + NYS SLP license and registration.

    + Previous hospital experience preferred

    + Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to staff members, management peers, hospital administration.

    + Prior experience with EPIC preferred

    + Prior experience with Modified Barium Swallow study required

    + BLS Certification through American Heart Association.

    + Experience with trach/vent population required.

     

    Salary Range

     

    USD $66.78 - USD $66.78 /Hr.
