    Your Impact at SAM

     

    As a UAS Pilot, you will work as part of a crew in the field to carry out missions and successfully acquire data for survey and inspection projects.

     

    + Under the review and direction of the Flight Operations Manager, perform aerial data collection using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles

    + Act as the Pilot in Command while flying unmanned aerial projects

    + Conduct pre-flight mission planning and coordination, including filing NOTAMS, submitting COA requests, and conducting pre-flight and on site risk

    + Perform preventative maintenance on sensor equipment and unmanned aerial vehicles

    + Conduct field data checks following data collection to ensure adequate project coverage

    + Perform other tasks as assigned to help accomplish the Company’s strategic goals

    What You Bring to SAM

    + Good communication (oral and written) and organizational skills are essential

    + A passion for troubleshooting problems in the field

    + Candidate should demonstrate previous experience with UAVs, and an ability to quickly become proficient in the use of such technology

    + Ability to operate independent of daily direction and overcome obstacles encountered during field work

    + FAA issued Part 107 Remote Pilot Airman’s Certificate required. No minimum flight hour experience

    + Survey field experience preferred

    Salary Maximum

     

    USD $30.00/per hour

     

    Salary Minimum

     

    USD $19.00/per hour
