    Description

    ICM Solutions is seeking a Controller to join our growing team on-site in Murray, UT. The Controller reports to the Director of Finance and is accountable for managing, analyzing, tracking, and reporting on the Company’s financial objectives. This position works with the various department managers within ICM Solutions, while being responsible for the overall management of the accounting department, including financial reporting, auditing, ERP, internal controls, and compliance. This role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as the ability to lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals. The Controller will work closely with senior management to ensure that financial objectives are met and that financial processes are efficient and effective.

     

    Additionally, the Controller will work with Campbell Company’s CFO and Controller, ensuring proper communication, transparency, and compliance with corporate objectives and deliverables.

    Team Leadership:

    + Manage and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

    + Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

    + Ensure optimal deployment of resources to achieve business goals.

    Financial Reporting:

    + Prepare and oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

    + Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other regulatory requirements.

    + Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and manage the preparation of audit schedules.

    + Owns accounting month-end cycle and adheres to the Campbell Companies timeline.

    Management Reporting and Analysis:

    + Generate regular reports for management.

    + Responsible for internal financial management reporting.

    + Assist Director of Finance in preparing a monthly Management Reporting Package encompassing company performance.

    + Develop regular reporting and analysis, including key metrics reports, and conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as required.

    + Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations.

    + Investigate and explain variances between planned and actual results.

    + Work in conjunction with the IT group and Director of Finance to ensure financial management reporting tools and processes are in place to support the ongoing and future needs of the business.

    Internal Controls and Compliance:

    + Design, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial information.

    + Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.

    + Develop and enforce financial policies and procedures across ICM Solutions.

    + Evaluate new accounting pronouncements and develop implementation plans to ensure compliance with GAAP throughout ICM Solutions & Campbell Companies.

    Cash Management:

    + Monitor and manage working capital.

    Strategic Planning:

    + Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.

    + Participate in the development and implementation of business strategies and initiatives.

    Systems and Process Improvement:

    + Evaluate and improve financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

    + Lead or participate in financial systems implementations and upgrades.

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required.

    + Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role and minimum 2 years of public accounting experience.

    + Experience at a heavy equipment dealer is preferred but not required.

    + Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.

    + Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics).

    + Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

    + Experience with strategy development and implementation.

    + Able to communicate effectively and lead others through change and new strategic initiatives.

    + Able to build effective teams, coach, and develop others.

    + An individual who seizes opportunities and takes initiative as appropriate.

    + Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

    + Ability to grasp the Company’s short- and long-term priorities and develop systems, processes, and policies to support the achievement of them in a cost-effective manner.

    + On an ongoing basis, evaluates and prioritizes activities, focus people resources against key business priorities.

    + High level of integrity and professionalism.
