    The travelingConstruction Project Managerworks as part of a construction program management team managing multiple projects for our Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) client with recurring travel across the Colorado and Utah market. The Construction Project Manager will manageground up chain restaurant projectsconsisting of limited/fast pace size, scope, duration, etc., while acting as an extension of the owner-s design, construction and maintenance staff overseeing the work of general contractors, designers and vendors.

     

    ravel required (30-60%) on an as needed basis up to and including weekly site visits. Multi-shift work may be required to accomplish work in active retail locations to meet aggressive schedules.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    + On-Site project management of construction activities

    + Directs and coordinates the activities of project team to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget.

    + Proactively communicates project related issues directly with Senior Project Manager, Project Executive, or Operations Director.

    + Examines construction documentation including drawings, schedules, and scopes to ensure completeness and accuracy.

    + Reviews bid results, specifications, test and progress reports, and other project information necessary to gain complete familiarity with the project.

    + Confirms and verifies permitting requirements related to the project or program.

    + Directly manages and monitors project work in the field.

    + Diligently manages change orders to projects.

    + Follows established standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.

    + Prepares and provides weekly status reports for projects.

    + Proactively identifies and solves or elevates project issues related to cost, schedule, safety, or qualify.

    + Represents the company in project meetings.

    + Develops and maintains relationships with clients, potential clients, subcontractors and vendors to help develop new opportunities.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelors degree in an accredited construction related program or equivalent; or

    + 6-10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    + Ground up construction management expertise, required.

    + Ground up restaurant/retail construction experience, highly preferred.

    + Demonstrated mastery in the skills of project management.

    + Experience self managing multi-site national construction projects from inception through close out.

    + Strong ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of the project team including management, project management, clients, client-s organization, contractors, and vendors.

    + Strong computer skills in Smartsheet, Procore, and MS Office.

    + PMP certification strongly preferred.

    Pay & Benefits: The anticipated compensation range for the position is $100,000 - $125,000, is based on a full-time schedule, market and business conditions, and is commensurate on individual education, qualifications, and experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurances, flexible paid time off, paid holidays, sick time, and a matching 401K plan.
