    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The Regional Office Sales Manager will organize, and lead a regional sales office for ATS Logistics. The Regional Office Sales Manager will have office profitability expectations and will be asked to perform a wide variety of daily tasks. Responsibilities may include management, interviewing, recruiting, booking freight, quoting, sales, marketing and promotion.

    The Regional Office Sales Manager will have office profitability expectations and will be asked to perform a wide variety of daily tasks. Responsibilities may include management, interviewing, recruiting, booking freight, quoting, sales, marketing and promotion.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Manage office employees

    + Establishes business with new accounts

    + Build rapport with operations and St. Cloud Staff

    + Mentor Employee’s

    + Develop marketing/promotional mix for office

    + Recruit

    + Negotiate rates with shippers, entering and recording all terms and conditions of shipment agreements

    + Qualifies new customers/shipments matching ATS Logistics requirements with shipper’s needs and profile

    + Responds to customers’ requests for service and resolves customer issues

    + Makes sales presentations

    + Manage a book of business in excess of a million dollars annually

    QUALIFICATIONS

    + Higher education (i.e. two or four year degree) preferred but not required

    + 2-5 years Management Experience

    + Transportation knowledge/experience

    + Good understanding of marketing, sales and customer service

    + Self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial spirit
