    ITW Residential & Renovation offers a broad range of professional grade anchoring tools and fasteners for numerous construction applications. Our products include wood to wood fastening systems (Paslode), structural wood fasteners (GRK Fasteners™), concrete anchoring systems (Tapcon®, Red Head®, Ramset®), underlayment screws (Rock-On®, Backer-On®), self-drilling screws (Teks®) and drywall anchoring systems (E-Z Ancor®). ITW Residential & Renovation excels in meeting the growing demands from Pro end-users for high-quality home improvement and construction fastening products.     Position Summary:

    We are seeking an accomplished Sales Director to set the strategy and continue to drive profitable growth for the DHL (Distributors, Hardware & Lumberyards) channel, aligned to the division’s strategic intent. This leader holds the responsibility to drive account management and revenue realization, and deliver outstanding customer service through a high perming team.

     

    As a member of the Construction North America Leadership Team, they will serve as a critical thought partner on the strategy and the roadmap to full potential

    Core Responsibilities:

    + Drive/Exceed Revenue Targets aligned to division’s strategic intent, while maintaining / improving margins

    + Evaluate market trends and customerfeedback, to make strategic decisions that will enable business growth through the annual plan as well as the long-range plan

    + Upgrade current capabilities around: StrategicSales Excellence, specifically:

    + Strategic; ability todrive changemanagement to support Paslode Growth

    + Thoughtful about generating Pull (end-userengagement, and specification) not just dealer/channel push

    + Push/Drive changeon any long-standing 80 partnerships that may have gone stale

    + Effectively launch new Customer Back Innovations into the channel and ensure effectivecommercialization, supporting division’s long-range CBI targets

    + Support customer service excellence with a focus on the 80’s.

    + Pressure test and evolve current talent, structure, & incentive to align with Divisional LRP goals and sustain above market growth and share-gain in 80 growth segments

    + Builda diverse, high performing organization.

    Key Skills & Experiences:

    + Prior experience as a sales/commercial leader at a national level - Should understand distribution and sales management. Experience working and managing across multiple channels to market is highly desirable.

    + Track Record ofimplementinga sales process and capability building with measurable improvement in outcomes

    + Results-orientated business leader who anticipates business needs and risks and drives action planning that ensures division meets or exceedsfinancial goals.

    + Demonstrated ability to cultivate customer relationships across customer’s multiple departments and at multiple levels vertically including executive leadership

    + Track-record of driving Pull for premium branded products

    + Track record of strong leadership,talent developmentand buildingfollowership

    + Comfortable leading, coaching anddevelopinga high-performance remote team across multiple locations

    + Ability to challenge status quo and drive thoughtful change with a focus on the 80’s.

    + Degree in management, business, marketing, sales or equivalent

    + Must be able to travel 40-50% of the time.

    In addition, our benefits include paid vacation, sick, holiday, and parental leave. Base salary range for this position is $180,000-$225,000. This position is also eligible to participate in the management incentive program with a bonus range of 20%-30%. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Company considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
