Richmond Community Services is seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Supervisor (RN) to lead our nursing and AMAP teams in delivering exceptional care to individuals with developmental disabilities. The Nurse Supervisor provides direct clinical oversight, ensures quality nursing practices, and supports the professional growth of staff. This is a hands-on leadership role that also assumes responsibility for the facility during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Oversee nursing and AMAP staff, ensuring proper scheduling, supervision, and clinical direction.

+ Monitor quality of care, medication administration, and adherence to person-centered planning principles.

+ Conduct investigations for reported incidents and implement corrective actions when necessary.

+ Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluation of nursing staff.

+ Identify and coordinate in-service training for nursing and direct care staff.

+ Attend interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individual program plans.

+ Manage medication and supply inventories and ensure compliance with all regulations.

+ Provide direct nursing care, assessments, and documentation as needed.

+ Act as the on-site nursing lead during off-hours and respond to emergencies.

Qualifications:

+ Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; current NYS RN license required.

+ Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

+ 3+ years of nursing experience, preferably within an OPWDD setting.

+ 2+ years of supervisory experience required.

+ Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities highly preferred.
