The DC-Metro Site Team is hiring a **Business Program Management Specialist** to support Microsoft’s engineering presence in the region. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your program management and operations expertise to elevate Microsoft’s brand, enhance employee experience, and strengthen community and talent engagement across the DC-Metro area.

Responsibilities
+ Helps to manage the team's rhythm of business (ROB), attends key meetings, ensures timely response to action items, fields and gathers information about engagement asks, and executes programmatic initiatives.
+ Within minimal guidance, you’ll also identify opportunities to develop and improve programs, and work with others to define program impact and create project plans.
+ With guidance, you will work with cross-functional stakeholders to design programs from initiation to delivery. You’ll also support and contribute to the definition and tracking of success criteria and performance metrics.
+ You will contribute to the definition and execution of a landing the team’s communication plan. You’ll also work with others to promote the programs and gain buy-in from stakeholders, partners, and customers.
+ As you oversee a portfolio of projects, you’ll receive minimal guidance collaborating with others working across teams to ensure program processes are executed efficiently.
+ Builds working relationships with stakeholders and business partners at scale for the business.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 3+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional projects, including ownership of budget, timelines, and delivery using agile or iterative methodologies.
+ 3+ years of demonstrated success delivering exceptional customer or employee experiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ 5+years of experience managing creative, event-based, or program-based projects.
+ 5+ years of experience building and sustaining employee communities or ERGs, with a focus on engagement, inclusion, and well-being.
+ Solid business communication and storytelling skills, including experience crafting executive-level presentations and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative insights.
+ Demonstrated ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-paced environments, bringing clarity and structure to evolving priorities.
Business Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $76,800 - $151,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $100,800 - $168,000 per year.
