Job Summary:
The Director, Corporate Partnerships, is responsible for developing and managing corporate partnerships in a regional structure to support revenue goals and the expansion of corporate support, including national sponsorships and cause marketing campaigns. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, Corporate Partnerships, this role serves as a key relationship manager for regional and national corporate prospects and partners . The Director will work collaboratively and in a donor -centric model with local teams and regional staff to drive engagement, secure corporate support , and build long-term, mission-aligned partnerships. The Director plays a central role in implementing the national strategy at the regional level while identifying new opportunities for corporate engagement and revenue growth.
Main Responsibilities:
+ Support the AVP, Corporate Partnerships to create and execute a national corporate partnerships strategy and evaluate value proposition focused on growing non-industry-related revenue and cause marketing efforts.
+ Cultivate and manage a portfolio of regional corporate partners and prospects, cultivating and stewarding relationships to maximize revenue and engagement.
+ Support the implementation of the national corporate partnership and cause marketing strategies across assigned regions.
+ Identify , cultivate, and solicit new corporate prospects in collaboration with regional development teams and leadership volunteers, operating on a local level .
+ Design and deliver tailored sponsorship packages and engagement opportunities that align with corporate partner objectives and organizational priorities.
+ Partner with internal key stakeholders to develop integrated proposals and ensure seamless execution.
+ Track and report on partnership activity, revenue, and pipeline using CRM systems and other tools to inform strategy and performance management.
+ Collaborate with regional and national colleagues to share insights, align priorities, and strengthen partner engagement across markets .
+ Represent the organization at regional events, meetings, and presentations to advance relationships and raise visibility.
+ Ensure high-quality stewardship and recognition plans are in place for all corporate partners, driving retention and long-term value.
+ Stay informed on corporate social responsibility (CSR) trends, regional market dynamics, and emerging partnership opportunities.
+ At this career level, you are leading by helping your peers understand a subject area.
What We're Looking For:
+ 8 years of demonstrated and relevant fundraising experience with advanced understanding of prospect qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship .
+ Record of accomplishment in fundraising including campaign planning and execution, pipeline development, and mid-level revenue generation across multiple markets .
+ Able to partner with staff toward a shared vision, providing strategic guidance to ensure staff meet their designated revenue and activity goals.
+ Proven ability to manage broad and technical fundraising campaigns, collaborating effectively with staff and volunteers to secure corporate gifts.
+ Proven nonprofit leadership experience with increasing responsibility, successfully driving 6-7 figure partnerships .
+ Familiarity with AI, predictive analytics, and CRM tools to optimize sales pipeline automation, donor journey mapping, and forecasting donor trends to enhance retention and maximize event success .
+ Track record of implementing innovative fundraising strategies that drive engagement and revenue growth.
+ Strong ability to perform under pressure, handle criticism professionally, and consistently meet fundraising commitments.
+ Exceptional project management, strategic planning, and negotiation skills to drive effective resource allocation and optimize fundraising outcomes.
+ Advanced CRM expertise , leveraging data analytics to drive decision-making and train teams on data-driven fundraising strategies.
Location Requirements
+ This role is market-based and requires regular, in-person attendance at meetings, constituent interactions, and events as well as (mostly local) travel as required and necessary up to approximately 35% of the work time. During the remaining time, work is primarily conducted remotely from either a home office or a National MS Society workspace (Society workspace not provided in all geographies).
+ Must be willing and able to travel through geographic service area; the position requires frequent, in-person attendance at meetings, donor/supporter meetings, and events. Ability to do daily local travel during peak season of work and occasional overnight travel; requires access to reliable transportation at all times on an immediate basis.
+ As this role supports our West Region, the preferred metro area(s) are as follows: San Francisco, CA, Los Angeles, CA, Seattle, WA
Compensation | Benefits:
The estimated hiring compensation range for this role is $100,000 - $120,000. Final offers will be based on the candidate's geographic location, consider career experience and may vary from this range due to these and other factors.
