    This role is Hybrid role based in Loveland, CO.

     

    The Target Pay Range for this position is $144,000-180,000 annually. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.

     

    Job Purpose/Overview

     

    This role serves as a hands-on technical leader responsible for shaping the architecture and

     

    direction of complex, cloud-native distributed systems while actively contributing to the

     

    codebase. The position drives innovation through modern engineering practices and mentors

     

    teams to elevate technical standards, and ensures the delivery of scalable, reliable solutions

     

    that align with business and product goals.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    + Serve as a hands-on technical leader, contributing significant code while setting the technical direction for complex, cloud-native distributed systems.

    + Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable solutions using .NET (Core 6 or higher), React.js, and other modern technologies.

    + Architect and implement RESTful APIs and .NET Minimal APIs to support enterprise integrations.

    + Drive the adoption of microservices, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and event-driven architecture across engineering teams.

    + Build event-driven, fault-tolerant systems using message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

    + Collaborate with product, business, and engineering leadership to align technical strategy with organizational goals.

    + Mentor and coach engineers by modeling best practices in coding, design, and architecture — leading by example in the codebase.

    + Conduct and lead code reviews with a focus on maintainability, performance, and scalability.

    + Stay actively engaged with emerging technologies and evaluate their applicability to improve system performance, reliability, and developer experience.

    Education and Experience

    + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

    + 10+ years of software engineering experience, with a proven track record of building and delivering production systems at scale.

    + Demonstrated ability to balance **coding at a deep level** with broader system and architectural design responsibilities.

    + Extensive hands-on experience with .NET Core 6+, cloud-native architecture, and distributed systems.

    + Strong background in Azure services (Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure SQL).

    + Expertise in event-driven design and message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

    + Experience applying Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Command Query Responsibility Segregation (CQRS).

    + Prior experience in a Staff+ role (Staff, Principal, or equivalent) with both individual contribution and technical leadership.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    + Exceptional coding skills in .NET Core and related frameworks, with the ability to design and implement complex systems.

    + Strong grasp of RESTful APIs, .NET Minimal APIs, microservices, and distributed architecture patterns.

    + Solid understanding of NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB, MongoDB) and relational systems (Azure SQL).

    + Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines in modern DevOps environments.

    + Ability to optimize performance, scalability, and resiliency at both the code and system architecture level.

    + Proven ability to mentor engineers and elevate technical standards across teams by contributing directly to the codebase.

    + Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence both technical and business stakeholders.

    + Self-driven with a balance of big-picture thinking and attention to technical detail.

     

    Working Conditions

     

    The associate is regularly required to apply manual dexterity, including hand/wrist flexibility, for computer keyboarding. The associate frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is frequently required to hear and speak in order to use the telephone, make presentations and communicate with people in an office environment. The associate is occasionally required to sit and stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch.
