Job Summary:
Plan, organize and coordinate the administrative aspects of the Transplant Office functions, including visitor relations and office supplies.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Provide direction and prioritization to all incoming department calls, and delegate using expert judgment and knowledge.
+ Coordinate and maintain all transplant patient appointments and associate communication.
+ Provide transplant education materials to all patients and coordinators as needed.
+ Obtains and enters all outside patient labs upon receiving them, and confirm they are in patient record prior to appointment.
+ Organize and track HLA Lab kits sent and received from patients. Ensure all kits received are delivered to HLA lab upon receipt.
+ Responsible for recording attendance and preparing minutes and action items for distribution for all Transplant Department meetings.
+ Administrative responsibilities for the transplant office to include maintaining office supplies, correspondence, schedules, and patient information.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
+ High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience

+ No experience required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
+ Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
+ Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
+ Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
+ Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
+ Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
+ Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
+ Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
+ Rare climbing.
