Join the Publix Technology Team as an Associate Business Systems Analyst where you will be responsible for ensuring the department is prepared to recover critical IT systems in the event of a disruption affecting system availability.

Responsibilities:

+ Ensure IT recovery procedures align with disaster and cyber recovery strategies

+ Oversee review of recovery plans and documentation for critical systems across multiple platforms, including public and private cloud solutions

+ Lead coordination of recovery testing and validation activities

+ Manage documentation to support Emergency Response Team during events (e.g., hurricanes, snowstorms)

+ Provide support and expertise on disaster and cyber recovery processes

+ Develop and maintain recovery documentation for critical applications deployed on-prem and to public cloud solutions

+ Prepare executive summaries for recovery exercises

Year End Bonus:

As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.

Required Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related analytical field, or equivalent experience

+ Understanding of modern data center architecture

+ Ability to comprehend disaster recovery concepts and develop solutions

+ Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking

Preferred Qualifications:

+ 1+ years of business systems analysis experience

+ Certification in IT Disaster and Cyber Recovery Planning

+ Knowledge of public and private cloud computing architecture as it relates to disaster and cyber recovery

+ Experience developing, testing, and maintaining disaster and cyber recovery plans for hybrid architecture

+ Knowledge of data center network, server, VSAN, and SAN replication architecture in a modern data center

+ Knowledge of modern backup tools and recovery capabilities

+ Experience developing and delivering training

+ Experience developing structured documents for audiences of varying backgrounds
