Minimum qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

+ 3 years of experience in mission critical facility design and construction environments.

+ Experience in the electrical infrastructure of mission critical facilities.

Preferred qualifications:

+ Master's degree in Engineering, or a relevant field, or a Professional Engineering (PE) license.

+ Experience in electrical design, operation, and commissioning of substations, switchgear, ATP/ATS, emergency power systems and their control systems, power monitoring, and electrical protection.

+ Experience in design, construction, and commissioning of high voltage substations, medium or low voltage electrical distribution systems, AC/DC systems, and associated power management or SCADA tools.

+ Experience working with data center equipment and environments (e.g., switchgear, generators, transformers, controls, security monitoring systems, fire safety systems).

With your technical expertise, you ensure compliance with codes and standards, develop infrastructure improvements and serve as an expert in your specialty (e.g., cooling, electrical).

As a Data Center Services Electrical Engineer, you will have experience with data center design, development, construction and commissioning projects. You will provide support for all electrical systems of data centers, networking, AC/DC power distribution and control systems. You will be tasked with coordinating the needs of multiple partner teams, while managing changes and maintaining a focus on keeping the project on schedule. You will manage technical projects in a changing industry, and grow in ambiguity and demonstrated problem-solving leadership. You should be able to conceptualize and describe the delivery of a data center facility from start to commissioning and understand the nuances and risks that you need to manage.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $122,000-$174,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

+ Maintain the responsibility of electrical scope on data center projects from design to deployment.

+ Provide engineering oversight for moves, adds, retrofits, renovations, and upgrades of existing facilities.

+ Resolve highly critical engineering issues within the organization while maintaining adherence to project requirements, timelines, and costs.

+ Support data center operations as the primary internal customer throughout construction and post-occupancy as the system subject matter expert.

+ Develop a detailed understanding of trade contractor project delivery strategies, planning, zoning, work sequences/packaging, etc. to optimize and align with program requirements.
