GE Appliances is seeking a highly motivated Senior Area Sales Manager (ASM) to drive sales and account growth across the Dallas-Fort Worth area and northern Louisiana. The ASM will manage the end-to-end sales experience, including floor merchandising, sales training, pricing and promotional strategies, distribution and fulfillment, and customer service. This role requires strong engagement with key stakeholders, business decision-makers, and sales associates to maximize territory performance.

How You'll Create Possibilities
Key Responsibilities:
+ Manage sales operations across the DFW area and northern Louisiana, supporting both independent appliance retailers (≈70% of territory) and national accounts (≈30%, including Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Best Buy).
+ Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to grow market share and territory profitability.
+ Execute sales and margin operating plans while consistently driving account performance.
+ Develop and implement merchandising and promotional strategies to drive sell-through, maximize margins, and strengthen customer relationships.
+ Apply quantitative sales expertise to run ROI analyses, calculate margins, and evaluate scenario planning to support business decisions.
+ Prepare and deliver presentations, sales materials, and product training to customers and internal teams.
+ Generate detailed reports on sales activity, account status, and goal adherence.
+ Address and resolve customer issues promptly to ensure high satisfaction and retention.
+ Support customer events, occasionally held during evenings and weekends, to strengthen account relationships.
+ Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, distribution, and support functions, to ensure seamless customer experiences.
What You'll Bring to Our Team
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
+ Minimum of five (5) years of sales experience.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Strong desire and ability to work from a home office and manage territory independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Proven experience developing, organizing, and implementing strategic sales plans.
+ Demonstrated success building strong relationships with customers, management, and peers to drive results.
+ Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
+ Self-starter with the ability to proactively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
+ Previous GE Appliances or appliance/retail sales experience.
+ Knowledge of advertising, sales promotion techniques, GE Appliance Contract Quoting Process, and Order Entry systems.
+ Ability and willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.
