    Job Description Summary

    The Customer Drawings Engineering team has responsibility for delivering customer drawing packages containing critical interfaces and inputs required to support power plant design.

     

    The 3D Customer Drawings Engineer is delivering to the customer the powertrain civil interface drawings, the load tables and mechanical outlines in compliance with the project specific requirements, according to the project schedule and within the allocated budget.

    Job Description

    Essential Functions (Responsibilities):

    + Create customer drawings with support from experts, such as powertrain layout and customer connections, powertrain foundation interfaces, foundation loading and piping civil interfaces drawings :

    + Provides inputs to the drafting team, validate drawings before release to the customer.

    + Calculate powertrain loads on foundation using specific project site conditions, execute and send the drawings to the customer.

    + Support customer’s civil design, respond to internal & external civil inquiries and help to solve issues

    + Support Customer Kick Off Meeting customer deliverables execution

    + Manage customer drawings packages containing outline and foundation drawings for accessories owned by Mechanical COE team :

    + Collect drawings and check the quality before release to the customer, make sure that inputs are delivered on time.

    + Participate to 3D Customer Drawing focused initiatives to improve quality, cycle, and content.

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    + Bachelors degree degree in Civil or Mechanical engineering and structures

    Desired Qualifications:

    + Master's degree in civil or mechanical engineering and structures

    + Basic knowledge of Combined Cycle Plant products (Desired)

    + Effective communication and organizational skills.

    + Ability to work successfully in a matrix environment while managing multiple projects and priorities

    + Customer focused; team focused
