    CTG is seeking to fill a Field Services Technician for our client in Nashville, TN.

     

    **Duration:** 3 years

    Duties:

    + Oversee field services operations, including desktop and end-user device support.

    + Plan, coordinate, and manage IT projects related to hardware and software deployment.

    + Ensure adherence to client standards, SLAs, and project timelines.

    + Lead troubleshooting and resolution efforts for complex technical issues.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT solutions efficiently.

    + Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding project status, risks, and issues.

    + Manage inventory, deployment schedules, and resource allocation for field services.

    + Support training and mentoring of Field Services Technicians.

    Skills:

    + Strong knowledge of desktop/laptop hardware, software, and operating systems.

    + Experience with PC imaging, Microsoft 365 troubleshooting, and operational programs.

    + Ability to manage projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

    + Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills.

    + Experience with SLA frameworks, escalation protocols, and client communication.

    + Basic understanding of workstation backups, restores, and IT asset management.

    + Preferred: A+ Certification or equivalent technical certification.

    Experience:

    + 3–5 years of experience in IT project management, field services, or technical support.

    + Demonstrated ability to lead projects, coordinate teams, and deliver results on time.

    + Experience supporting end-user devices, IT deployments, and hardware/software troubleshooting.

    Education:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.

    + Equivalent technical training or certifications may be considered.

     

    Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
