Complex Project Manager

CTG is seeking to fill a Complex Project Manager position for our client in Houston, TX.
**Duration:** 12 months
Duties:
+ Lead and manage IBM’s largest and most complex Interactive Experience (IX) client engagements, ensuring the successful delivery of transformative solutions that address complex IT, business, and customer requirements.
+ Oversee all aspects of project execution, including scope, cost, schedule, quality, and contractual deliverables.
+ Develop and manage detailed project plans, resource allocation, risk assessments, and communication strategies.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing consistent updates, issue resolution, and strategic guidance.
+ Ensure financial performance of engagements, leveraging IPPF tools for tracking costs and invoices aligned with contract milestones.
+ Partner with cross-functional teams—including technical, design, and business stakeholders—to drive alignment and project success.
+ Facilitate executive-level meetings and decision-making sessions to ensure strategic objectives are met.
Skills:
+ Proven expertise in managing large-scale, complex IT and business transformation projects.
+ Strong proficiency with IPPF tools and financial tracking for project costs and billing.
+ Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
+ Ability to analyze business and IT challenges and apply strategic, innovative solutions.
+ Deep understanding of risk management, resource planning, and contractual compliance.
+ Executive presence with excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Experience:
+ 10+ years of progressive experience in project or program management, including large, complex, multi-disciplinary initiatives.
+ Experience managing global engagements involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
+ Demonstrated success delivering high-value client solutions within scope, budget, and schedule constraints.
+ Prior experience in IT consulting, business transformation, or customer experience projects preferred.
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field required.
+ Master’s degree or PMP certification preferred.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
