The **Sales Support Specialist** plays a critical role in supporting the Aerotech Sales team by managing day-to-day customer communications, coordinating quotations, and ensuring information flows smoothly between customers and internal departments. This position is the frontline connection for customers reaching out to the Sales organization — handling calls, emails, and inquiries with professionalism and care.

YOUR IMPACT
Customer Interaction & Communication
+ Serve as the first point of contact for incoming calls and emails through the Sales department’s general phone line and inbox.
+ Provide prompt, professional assistance to customers and route inquiries to the appropriate account manager when necessary.
+ Build and maintain positive relationships with customers by ensuring timely and accurate follow-up.
+ Communicate proactively with customers and internal teams to ensure expectations are met and information is shared effectively.
Sales Operations & Quotation Support
+ Prepare and issue quotations and pricing information under the direction of Sales Account Managers or leadership.
+ Coordinate information required from Engineering, Business Planning, and Quality to complete accurate, professional-looking customer responses.
+ Maintain organized records of quotes, pricing history, and customer communication for tracking and reporting purposes.
+ Support the sales team in monitoring open quotes and following up with customers as needed.
Customer Visit & Internal Coordination
+ Coordinate logistics for customer visits, including scheduling, meeting preparation, conference room setup, and arranging demonstrations or presentations.
+ Manage on-site readiness for customer meetings, including light hospitality coordination (refreshments, supplies, etc.).
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth communication and execution of sales-related activities.
Program & Administrative Support
+ Maintain accurate data for programs such as the California CORE Program (low-emission equipment rebate program), ensuring compliance and timely submissions.
+ Support internal communications, reporting, and document management for the Sales team.
+ Monitor general office needs for the sales wing (coffee, water, supplies) to maintain a professional work environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
+ Associate degree with three (3) or more years of sales experience. OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a confident and professional phone presence.
+ Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
+ High attention to detail and organizational accuracy.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
+ Experience supporting a sales or customer-facing team within a manufacturing, industrial, or engineering environment.
+ Familiarity with quotation and order management processes.
+ Exposure to CRM or ERP systems such as Salesforce or SAP.
+ Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
+ Demonstrated interest in career growth within sales or account management.

Pay Range:
$56,600.00 - $88,400.00
The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
