Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY
The Design and Construction Manager provides the necessary supervision, direction, coordination and management control for design and construction projects in a manner that is consistent with and meets the demands of the strategic needs Marshfield Clinic Health System.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
_For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation._
**Minimum Required:** Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture **or** ten years of directly related work experience.
**Preferred/Optional:** Advanced degree in architecture engineering or business administration.
EXPERIENCE
**Minimum Required:** Five years’ experience in healthcare design and construction, preferably as an owner’s representative for a health system **or** ten years’ experience with no degree.
**Preferred/Optional:** Ten years’ experience in healthcare design and construction.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
_The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position._
**Minimum Required:** Valid Wisconsin driver's license with an acceptable DMV record.
**Preferred/Optional:** Recognition by an industry organization (AIA, ASHE, AGC, EDAC, CMAA or similar) for contributions to the Healthcare Facilities field. Licensed Architect, Engineer or General Contractor.
