As an RN in our Medical Unit, you'll be the heartbeat of patient care, providing primary support through assessment, treatment, care planning, and medical evaluation. Our patients are a diverse mix of Med/Surg acute care level individuals, each with unique stories and medical needs, coming from the ER, doctor's offices, and even other hospitals.

Are you a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse looking for an opportunity to make a real difference in patients' lives? If so, we have the perfect role for you in our Medical Unit!

What to Expect:

In our fast-paced environment, you’ll encounter a variety of cases and diagnoses, including:

+ COPD (Lung issues)

+ CHF

+ Emphysema

+ CAD, DM, ETOH W/D

+ Dementia

+ Failure to Thrive

+ Falls with or without injury

+ Kidney failure & dialysis patients

+ Sepsis, UTIs

+ GI bleeds and all sorts of wounds

You’ll also be involved in numerous diagnostic procedures and tests, from CT scans to MRIs, and even performing interventions such as colonoscopies and thoracentesis. And yes, sometimes, you’ll get to transport patients across campus for radiation treatment, making each day an adventure.

Schedule:

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
