LSI currently seeks a full-time Service Coordinator in our Early Childhood program to oversee services for Blackhawk, Benton, Tama, Floyd, Mitchell, Chickasaw, Butler, Grundy, Bremer, Franklin, and Cerro Gordo counties.What You Will DoThis position coordinates and supervises early childhood home-visiting programs.Home visiting programs serve families who are pregnant or have a child under age 5 and focuses on parent education and support. The Service Coordinator trains and supervises volunteers and staff. This position is also responsible for funding and program compliance.
Experience in managing Healthy Families America, Parent's as Teachers, or other home visiting models. Understanding of Early Childhood Iowa and capacity to provide reflective supervision.What You Will NeedQualified applicants will have a Bachelor's degree a human service related field with five years of human service experience and 2 years of supervisory experience. This position requires a valid driver's license, auto insurance, a good driving record and the ability to pass an extensive background check including checks of the Dependent Adult and Child Abuse registries, Sex Offender registry and a criminal history check.
