We are searching for the best talent for a Logistics Lead to be in Gurabo, PR!
Purpose:
The Logistics Lead provides direction to daily operations such as shipping and receiving, inventory control and warehouse processes operations of the Gurabo site. This position is accountable for aligning departmental goals with the site objectives to achieve business goals and performance indicators. Assures compliance with regulatory, safety and environmental requirements pertinent to the internal and external (3PL) warehouse operations. Guides the team using new technologies and creative warehousing processes and concepts that drive a culture of change and improvement. Also, responsible for engaging and empowering talent as well as championing positive employee relations aligned to a CREDO driven culture.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Responsible for the receipt, storage and shipping of raw materials, Finished Goods and other supplies in accordance with cGMP standards, company policies and regulatory requirements.
+ Supports the development of realistic Key Performance Indicators for the area of responsibility and drives monitoring, and continuous communication.
+ Completes investigation and documentation of all Non-Conformance Events (Investigation Reports and Corrective/Preventive Actions.) within assigned scope.
+ Assures maintenance of warehouse facilities and equipment consistent with high quality and performance standards.
+ Actively seeks opportunities for improvement and evaluates incorporation onto strategic goals.
+ Handles insurance aspects of products within the country, including reimbursements, claims and interactions with Regional Transportation Organization as per J&J procedures.
+ Participates in Regulatory Compliance and Financial Audits as Warehouse and Logistics Process Owner.
+ Develops and/or recommends operating procedure changes, and equipment or facility alterations related to Material Management.
+ Collaborate effectively with Planning, Distribution, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Compliance, Operations, IT, and Finance to proactively identify & resolve issues impacting areas of responsibility.
+ Manages appropriate budget and operates within approved spending.
Qualifications
Education:
+ A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required. Focused degree in Business Administration, Science, or Engineering is preferred
+ Six Sigma and/or Lean Certifications (i.e., JJPS Deployment, Green Belt or Black Belt) are preferred
Experience and Skills:
Required:
+ At least two (2) years of relevant work experience
+ Experience in healthcare warehouse/ logistics, or in a manufacturing regulated industry
+ Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office, e-mail, word processing, and spread sheets
+ Prior experience with ERP Systems (e.g., SAP, JDE)
+ Proficiency in Spanish and English languages (read, speak, and write)
+ Ability to build relationships and be a phenomenal partner at all levels in the organization and with external service providers
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills required as well as in the following areas: Conflict Resolution, Managing for Performance/Accountability and documenting issues, as well as developing leadership and ownership in individuals.
Preferred:
+ Experience in SAP Warehouse Management modules
+ Proficient working on customer-facing initiatives
Other:
+ This position will be based in Gurabo, PR and may require up to 10% domestic/international travel
