Job Description

Insight Global is looking to add a QA Engineer to our client’s team in Hyderabad, India. This individual will be joining our client’s software development organization to drive quality assurance efforts within an Agile environment. The QA Engineer will collaborate closely with development and product teams to establish and refine test strategies, design and execute test plans, and ensure both automated and manual testing practices are applied to validate functionality, reliability, and user experience.

This role will involve developing and maintaining automated test suites (UI, API, and functional), performing manual testing as needed (including exploratory and cross-browser validation), and supporting continuous integration (CI) flows to streamline testing and deployment. The QA Engineer will also troubleshoot and resolve issues in systems under test, documenting and tracking defects through resolution.

This position requires strong communication skills, as the QA Engineer will interface with cross-functional stakeholders and provide updates on testing progress and quality metrics.

Skills and Requirements

3+ years of experience in quality assurance, with a mix of manual and automation testing.

3+ years of experience with automation frameworks like Selenium or Appium and API testing tools like Postman.

Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Groovy, Ruby, or Python).

Experience with web application testing, regression testing, and continuous integration processes.

Familiarity with version control, defect tracking, and test management tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, JIRA). telecom background
