    Job Description

    A Pharmaceutical Company headquartered in Carlsbad, CA is seeking an IT Project/Program Manager to join their team. This consultant will be directly supporting the Executive Director of Infrastructure and will assist with project plans, status reports, change management and continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate is detail orientated with proven experience of strong documentation, communication, and presentation skills. They should come from a technical background with experience supporting infrastructure, network administration, and cyber security projects. They should be familiar with project management best practices (PMP) and will be responsible for tracking projects through to completion monitoring timeline, budget, risk & change management.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 5+ years of experience as a technical project/program manager with experience working within an IT organization

     

    - PMP Certification

     

    - Strong familiarity of Project Management files and best practices (project plans, timelines, requirements documents, status reports, risk management, budget tracking)

     

    - Experience supporting a breadth of technical projects including Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Network Administration, etc.

     

    o ITIL/ITSM knowledge preferred

     

    - Strong experience and background in change management and continuous process improvement

     

    - Strong documentation and communication – experience creating and presenting weekly status reports to leadership and business stakeholders
