    Job Description

    • Identify, analyze, and fix security vulnerabilities and code risks in existing Java applications.

    • Perform code remediation to comply with security standards, vulnerability scans, and audit findings.

    • Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and Security teams to validate fixes and ensure secure deployment.

    • Conduct root cause analysis on frequent backouts, rollbacks, or failed deployments.

    • Implement safe rollback strategies and maintain system stability during remediation activities.

    • Review dependency libraries, frameworks, and configurations to ensure compliance with security baselines.

    • Participate in peer code reviews to ensure high-quality and secure code changes.

    • Document fixes, backout procedures, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.

    Skills and Requirements

    • 5+ years of experience in Java development, preferably in maintenance or support-heavy roles.

    • Strong understanding of Java 8+, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.

    • Experience with application security, OWASP principles, and vulnerability management.

    • Familiarity with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).

    • Ability to troubleshoot issues across multiple environments (Dev, QA, Prod).

    • Strong debugging and rollback management skills.
