Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an experienced SEO & GEO to shape the search strategy for both traditional search engines and emerging generative AI platforms for a large IAM company. This role will focus on building best practice frameworks, analyzing AI-driven visibility data, and developing technical SEO strategies to strengthen the digital authority. The role will also guide off-site visibility efforts and ensure they are positioned as a trusted source across generative engines, industry platforms, and third-party sites. This individual will work closely with Web, Content, and Product & Solution Marketing to integrate GEO and SEO strategies into all digital initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Create best practice guidelines for content creation and optimization tailored to both SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization).
Analyze AI visibility data to identify opportunities for content development and optimization in generative platforms.
Lead technical SEO strategy, including schema markup/structured data, internal linking, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, and crawl/indexation improvements.
Provide guidance on off-site visibility strategies, including presence on Reddit, Wikipedia, third-party publications, and AI training data sources.
Collaborate with Web, Content, and Product & Solution Marketing teams to integrate SEO/GEO recommendations into global content initiatives.
Monitor and report on both SEO and GEO performance using GA4, GSC, and enterprise SEO tools, surfacing actionable insights.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of professional experience in SEO, with proven knowledge of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) principles.
Expertise with Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, and SEO platforms such as Semrush, Conductor, Ahrefs, or Screaming Frog.
Strong technical SEO knowledge, including structured data, site performance optimization, and indexation management.
Ability to interpret AI visibility data and translate findings into strategic content recommendations.
Awareness of the latest trends in SEO and GEO, with a proactive approach to evolving tactics. Background in B2B SEO, particularly in the technology or cybersecurity industry.
Experience optimizing content for generative AI engines (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Bing Copilot, Perplexity).
Familiarity with strategies for increasing brand/entity visibility in third-party sources leveraged by generative AI (e.g., Wikipedia, Reddit, industry media).
Hands-on experience with schema markup for complex B2B content.
Proven ability to collaborate across marketing functions to align SEO/GEO strategies with brand and campaign priorities.
A thought leadership mindset with interest in testing and innovating within the evolving AI-driven search landscape.
