• AV Sales Engineer

    Job Description

    Insight Global is hiring an Audio Visual Sales Engineer to support one of it’s leading customers in the integrated AV space. This person will work closely with the sales team to understand client needs and design custom AV solutions for offices, conference rooms, and other professional environments. They’ll visit client sites, conduct walk-throughs, and create detailed proposals including equipment specs and labor estimates. They’ll also collaborate with manufacturers for pricing, support internal teams during project handoffs, and stay up to date on AV trends and technologies to ensure solutions are modern and effective.

    Skills and Requirements

    3+ years of experience designing and selling AV solutions (conference rooms, video walls, etc.)

     

    Strong knowledge of AV systems and brands like Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Cisco, and QSC

     

    Familiarity with UC platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex, and Google Meet

    Ability to create scopes of work, equipment lists, and signal flow diagrams

    Excellent communication and client-facing skills Industry certifications (CTS, Crestron, Extron, etc.)

     

    Experience working with AV design software or CAD tools

     

    Prior involvement in AV project kick-offs and coordination with operations teams
