    Job Description

    A large client is looking for a Business Analyst to join their PMO organization. The Business Analyst will serve as the liaison between the business and IT departments of our company. The role requires the Business Analyst to be detail-oriented and highly innovative to translate the business needs to IT solutions, and vice versa, with current programs, projects, and initiatives. Responsibilities include analysis and assessment needed for the identification of system requirements and functional definition of planned system changes within an application or in considering a new technology solution. The Business Analyst works with the project manager, the business, and IT Teams to identify and implement system solutions that support more efficient processes within a system as well as any areas that may impact the system performance.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    o Bachelor’s of Science or Arts Degree

     

    o 3+ years’ experience working with systems

     

    o 3+ years’ experience with an SDLC, system development methodologies and requirements gathering and including business process mapping

     

    o Strong Business Analysis experience

     

    o Ability to translate business needs into system specifications, familiar with agile framework and processes-Epic, Feature and Story, creation processes

     

    o Experience working with project teams from project initiation to closing

     

    o Excellent critical thinking, process analysis and mapping skills (Visio, Lucid) o PMI-PBA or CBAP (in good standing) or CAPM (in good standing)

     

    o Agile Practice Certification – CSM or AAC

     

    o Building or Construction experience
