• Remote Staff Fullstack Engineer

    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking Staff Fullstack Engineers for a remote, 12+ month contract to lead the development of a healthcare billing system. This team is responsible for building and maintaining the central platform where patients manage everything from scheduling and billing to communicating with their care team and tracking treatment plans. The work directly impacts patient engagement, retention, and operational efficiency.

    Responsibilities

    Design and develop robust, scalable backend services and APIs to support the billing system.

     

    Build intuitive and responsive frontend interfaces using React.

     

    Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure systems are secure, reliable, and performant.

     

    Contribute to architectural decisions and help shape backend and frontend development best practices.

     

    Optimize data flows and system integrations for enterprise-level functionality.

    Compensation:

    $75/hr -$85/hr.

     

    Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

    Skills and Requirements

    Required Qualifications

    8–10+ years of experience as a software engineer, building and maintaining scalable, production-ready systems.

     

    Strong backend development experience with TypeScript and Node.js.

     

    Frontend development experience using React.

     

    Experience integrating third-party APIs in enterprise applications.

     

    Familiarity with microservices and/or event-driven architectures.

     

    Hands-on experience developing in AWS environments.

     

    Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a proven ability to align technical efforts with business goals.

     

    Knowledge of Electronic Health Records (EHR) or medical billing systems is a strong plus. • Knowledge of EHR or medical billing is strong plus
