    Job Description

    The HVAC Estimating Lead will oversee a small team of estimators, ensuring timely and accurate bid execution across multiple projects. This role serves as a hands-on leader, supporting the estimating process from plan review to quote solicitation, while coordinating with internal teams and manufacturers.

    Position Responsibilities:

    o Develop cost estimates and coordinate proposals for assigned estimating projects.

     

    o Supervise and support a small team of estimators in daily bid activities.

     

    o Review plans and specifications to guide estimating efforts.

     

    o Coordinate with manufacturers, customers, and sales teams to ensure accurate and competitive bids.

     

    o Collaborate with bid coordination for project review and job assignment.

     

    o Assist in training and mentoring junior estimators.

     

    o Ensure bid submissions meet company and customer standards.

     

    o Serve as a liaison between the estimating team, engineering team, and sales team to facilitate smooth communication.

     

    o Perform revisions & price updates to estimates as needed and ensure timely completion of bids.

     

    o Participate in pre-bid coordination and post-bid follow-ups as needed.

     

    o Perform other duties as assigned.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 5+ years of Commercial HVAC Estimating Experience (some flexibility here for strong candidates)

    - Great communication skills

    - Someone able to perform in a lead role while also act as a Sr. Estimator - Experience as a Lead Estimator / Leading a team of estimators

     

    - Onscreen Takeoff

     

    - Familiarity with Price Industries or Greenheck (Manufactures)
