• HR/Payroll Generalist

    Payroll Responsibilities include:

    Collect and input payroll and HR data into HRIS system with information including but not limited to: Hours worked, Taxes, Insurance, Commissions, Vacation Pay, other records as needed

     

    Create master pay files for new hires; assign employee identification numbers for each system; prepare computer input forms, enter data into computer files, compute wages and deductions and posts to payroll

     

    Review wages computed and correct errors to ensure accuracy of payroll; Audit changes to payroll; Record changes associate requests

     

    Prepare and ensure paychecks are delivered to each branch by pay day to ensure timeliness of pay schedules

     

    Process promotions, change in status, LOA, and labor splits; Prepare separation packages including COBRA compliance forms; Process and track garnishments, employee advances and third-party sick pay

    Human Resources Responsibilities include:

    Prepare new hire packages; conduct & coordinate new hire onboarding and training; Prepare Quarterly report for Employment Development Department

     

    Maintain employee personnel files; File all appropriate forms and documentation into the personnel file; Maintain terminated employee files

     

    Prepare reports for monthly reconciliation of insurance accounts, taxes, etc.

     

    Process VOE for associates; Keeps records of leave pay and nontaxable wages

     

    Coordinates special events and celebrations for all locations

    Experience & Pay Range:

    0 - 3 years of experience is acceptable

     

    Non-exempt, hourly position

     

    Pay: $27 - $36 / hour depending upon experience
