System Optimization Specialist

Position Overview:

As a System Optimization Specialist, you play a crucial role in serving as a function and business liaison, navigating complex issues that extend beyond a single function or region. You collaborate with platform and support teams to effectively escalate and resolve challenges. Your responsibility includes the ongoing upkeep and optimization of system configurations to meet evolving business needs, ensuring digital solutions and platforms are tailored for maximum effectiveness. You implement permanent fixes for repetitive operational issues and optimize complex system maintenance tasks. As the functional representative on global digital projects, you provide key subject matter expertise and insights, advocating for global functional needs for healthy usage and adoption of digital tools. You conduct the first round of testing and coordinate UAT across solutions like SAP, Kinaxis, Fourkites, and Salesforce to ensure stable and functional solutions. Additionally, you provide essential training sessions and comprehensive documentation for new digital capabilities, empowering users to maximize the platforms and solutions. You aid in managing planning parameters, outlining process specifications, and data upkeep and cleanup efforts, such as lead time tables.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Responsible for the ongoing upkeep and optimization of system configurations to meet evolving business needs;

+ Ensure digital solutions and platforms are tailored for maximum effectiveness;

+ Implement permanent fixes for repetitive operational issues and optimize complex system maintenance tasks;

+ Serve as the functional representative on global digital projects, providing key subject matter expertise and insights;

+ Advocate for global functional needs for healthy usage and adoption of digital tools;

+ Conduct first round of testing and coordinate UAT across solutions like SAP, Kinaxis, Fourkites, and Salesforce;

+ Provide essential training sessions and comprehensive documentation for new digital capabilities;

WHO YOU ARE:

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications:

+ BSc + 2 years relevant experience or 6+ years of relevant experience;

+ High level subject matter expertise in at least one area of product supply;

+ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to ensure business advice and influence at all levels across the organization;

+ Understanding of project management lifecycle and methodology;

+ Proactive mindset and ability to work independently;

+ Professional knowledge of SAP and preferably at least one of the following IT systems and platforms: Salesforce, Power Automate, FIDO, Transform, Kinaxis, Phoenix, and Trade Automation;

+ Experience in developing and implementing system improvements.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $84,954.40 - $127,431.60Additional compensation may include a bonus or incentive compensation (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
