In this role, you'll strategically procure raw materials, equipment, goods, and services to ensure production runs efficiently and cost-effectively. You'll negotiate contracts, manage supplier relationships, and oversee high-risk and high-value commodities, while ensuring compliance and alignment with company objectives. Your expertise will help optimize sourcing, strengthen supplier partnerships, and ensure Romac continues delivering innovative solutions that connect people to water.

    What You'll Do

+ Lead supplier contract review, negotiations, and performance management to ensure compliance.

+ Develop, review, and interpret procurement documents, including T&Cs, SOWs, and agreements.

+ Manage high-risk commodities, capital expenditures, and selected inventory through forecasting and demand planning.

+ Evaluate and improve sourcing activities by assessing suppliers, including on-site audits.

+ Collaborate with internal stakeholders to mitigate risks, establish contracts, and support operational goals.

    What You'll Bring

+ High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree or purchasing certification preferred.

+ 8+ years of procurement experience, with background in manufacturing or distribution a plus.

+ Strong negotiation, supplier management, and contract development skills.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and experience with ERP systems such as Oracle.

+ Strong communication skills, ability to read blueprints, and proven leadership in team collaboration.

Base Compensation Range: $35.05- $52.60 per hour. Compensation offered will be based on a variety of individual factors, including education and experience, as well as internal equity. Our salary ranges are reviewed and updated each year and employees are eligible for pay increases based on individual performance.

Benefits: At Romac, investing in our people is a top priority. In addition to competitive and equitable pay, employees are eligible for a quarterly discretionary profit-sharing bonus and a year-end bonus. We also provide comprehensive benefits to support employees and their families, including medical, dental, and vision insurance (with a 100% employer-paid medical plan option for employee-only coverage), a 401(k) retirement plan with company match, short and long-term disability insurance, life insurance, flexible spending accounts (FSAs), an employee assistance program (EAP), paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, and cell phone discounts.
