Job Description

Primary Duties / Responsibilities:

+ Conduct research on domestic/international dairy markets and policy to support the development of reports that guide DFA strategy and decision making

+ Develop methods to automate data collection, manipulation, and visualization to improve team efficiency and streamline communication of key insights

+ Explore the forecasting of key dairy economic indicators and other predictive analytics utilizing econometrics and emerging technology

+ Collaborate with other members of the Insights & Optimization team to learn more about our role in the cooperative and contribute to a wide range of projects that support our overall strategy

+ Contribute to various internal and external communications to inform stakeholders of changes in dairy markets and matters relevant to DFA & its farmer owners

+ Learn about DFA’s various business units through DFA’s internship program, participate in intern activities, and gain exposure to cooperative leadership and organization

Requirements

**Educational Requirements:** Rising Senior or Graduate Student (ideally proficient in Microsoft office applications)

**Desired Degree Focus:** Agribusiness Management, Agricultural Economics, Economics, Data Analytics, Food Science, Dairy Science, Animal Science, Nutrition
