Currently we have a Maintenance Mechanic role open on 1st shift. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for assisting in repairing and maintaining industrial equipment. This will include, but not limited to performing root cause failure analysis in a team environment and preventative maintenance per company standards.
Essential Job Functions
+ Inspect equipment and related components to determine causes of malfunctions by using appropriate tools and skills.
+ Replace/rebuild hydraulic components, pneumatic components, gear boxes, brakes, hoists, trolley systems, festoon systems, battery and fuel mobile devices, plumbing systems, basic fire systems, linear transmission devices such as ball and screws, etc.
+ Basic welding for repairs, using cutting devices, plasma cutters, etc.
+ Pipe fitting, not limited to PVC, CPVC, black pipe, steel pipe, cooper, etc.
+ Machine, fixture, tool and equipment alignments, geometry alignments, checks, corrections, leveling, installation and removal as assigned.
+ Generates parts list and purchase requisitions.
+ Must comply with all safety rules and procedures and attend safety meetings.
+ Other duties as assigned.
General qualifications for this role:
+ Two year degree/certification from an accredited technical school centered on Industrial Mechanical studies or four years of documented Industrial Mechanical experience may be substituted for technical school.
+ Must be able to certify for license to operate forklift.
+ Must be willing to work both inside and outside in all weather conditions.
