The Opportunity
**Abbott Rapid and Molecular Diagnostics (RMDx) – Infectious Disease (ID)** is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented **Regional Sales Support Manager** to lead and elevate a high-performing team of (RSS) professionals at a national level. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in commercial operations, sales enablement, or healthcare experience who are passionate about driving strategic execution and empowering field teams to succeed.
As the **Regional Sales Support Manager** , you will play a pivotal role in shaping the operational backbone of the sales organization. You will lead a team that ensures precision in contract and data management, excellence in internal coordination, and seamless execution of strategic initiatives. Your leadership will directly impact the effectiveness of commercial sales roles and leaders, enabling them to focus on delivering innovative diagnostic solutions and improving patient outcomes. This is a 100% office based role. The Infectious Disease portfolio includes the following product lines: ID NOW™ PLATFORM (Influenza, Covid-19, RSV, Strep A), BinaxNOW™ COVID-19/Flu A&B Combo, DETERMINE HIV-1/2™, BinaxNOW™ Streptococcus pneumoniae & Legionella, BinaxNOW® Malaria, Clearview™ hCG, Clearview™ PBP2a SA.
Key Responsibilities
+ Lead, coach, and develop a team of Regional Sales Support (RSS) professionals supporting eight US sales regions.
+ Recruit, hire and onboard new RSS team members to support regional growth and evolving business needs
+ Design and implement scalable processes that improve efficiency, data accuracy, and internal alignment across sales operations.
+ Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Contracts, and Distribution to ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives.
+ Monitor and report on team performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
+ Oversee CRM data integrity, contract tracking, proposal workflows, and reporting tools such as Salesforce.com and PowerBI.
+ Serve as a point of escalation for complex operational challenges and ensure timely resolution.
+ Collaborate with commercial leadership to align RSS support with evolving business priorities.
+ Drive continuous improvement through feedback loops, training programs, and process optimization.
+ Support training and integration of new RSS team members and field sales personnel.
+ Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and documentation standards.
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s Degree required.
+ Minimum 5 years experience in sales operations or commercial support.
+ Minimum 3 years of experience managing teams and leading cross-functional projects.
+ Proven track record of strong leadership skills, coaching skills, and developing talent.
+ Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence without direct authority.
+ Documented experience and expertise in CRM systems such as Salesforce.com, Microsoft Office Suite, and data visualization tools such as PowerBI.
+ Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
+ Deep understanding of workflows, sales processes, and customer engagement strategies.

+ Advanced degree or certification in business, operations, or healthcare.

The base pay for this position is $97,300.00 – $194,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
