    In this position...

     

    + The Specialist, Employee Relations, working under general direction, is responsible for supporting labor strategy and negotiations actions

    + This role conducts daily operations including project management support, collaborating with teams, including cross-functionally, to implement processes and training material.

     

    What you'll do...

     

    + Support objectives and deliverables for continuous improvement projects. This includes using LEAN tools to help deliver key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify preventive measures to keep processes working as designed.

    + Create meeting materials and presentations.

    + Support centralized communication process.

    + Create and manage SharePoint sites.

    + Lead cross-functional tasks, assignments, and projects in support of labor teams including hourly hiring strategy, job security programs, negotiations, wage administration, etc.

    + Support and deliver National/Local negotiation planning initiatives including training material and workshops.

    + Support National Negotiations contractual language control process.

    + Manage National Negotiations facility matters, budget, food services, etc.

    + Ad hoc research and other assignments as required.

     

    You'll have...

     

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial/Labor Relations, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience.

    + Minimum 3 years of work experience with a with a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Employee Relations or a related field.

    + Plant labor relations preferred (negotiations experience is beneficial)

    + Functional proficiency with Microsoft Office software applications and SharePoint.

    + Problem solving / conflict resolution.

    + Data analysis / data presentation.

    + Project management skills.

    + Excellent written and oral communication including presentation skills.

    + Ability to build consensus with stakeholders.
