Your role and responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Manager to lead the strategy, implementation, and evolution of our Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions, with a strong focus on OpenText technologies. This role will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and innovative content management solutions.
- Manage the product roadmap for OpenText-based ECM solutions, including Documentum, Content Server, and Extended ECM.
- Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical specifications and functional deliverables.
- Act as the primary liaison between business units, IT, and external vendors, ensuring alignment and clear communication.
- Plan and oversee system integrations with other enterprise platforms (e.g., ERP, CRM) using APIs and SDKs.
- Support the definition and enforcement of content governance, compliance, and risk management policies.
- Collaborate with technical teams on system configuration, customization, and issue resolution.
- Drive or support cloud migration initiatives and promote adoption of modern ECM capabilities in cloud environments.
- Optimize content management processes, including version control, metadata management, and workflow automation.
- Contribute to the organization’s digital transformation strategy, supporting automation and process improvement initiatives.
- Conduct and coordinate functional testing and validation of new features and system updates.
- Ensure ECM solutions are aligned with the client’s industry-specific needs and operational workflows.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in ECM, digital content strategy, and regulatory compliance.
This Job can be Performed from anywhere in the US.
Required technical and professional expertise
'- Proficient in OpenText solutions such as OpenText Documentum, OpenText Content Server, or OpenText Extended ECM.
- Knowledge of content management principles, including version control, metadata management, and workflow automation.
- Familiarity with APIs, SDKs, and integration with other enterprise systems (like CRM, ERP).
- Understanding of database management systems and SQL. 5. Skills in system configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with cloud platforms.
- Understanding of the client's industry and business processes,
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Knowledge of content governance, compliance, and risk management.
- Familiarity with digital transformation strategies and content strategy.
