    Your role and responsibilities

    An Ecosystem Marketing Marketplace Manager plays a critical role in promoting and scaling a platform that connects buyers and sellers. This role focuses on executing integrated marketing strategies to attract, engage, and retain users while driving platform growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Platform Promotion & User Engagement

    * Develop and execute multi-channel marketing strategies to increase platform visibility and user acquisition.

    * Leverage content, SEO, social media, and influencer partnerships to drive traffic and engagement.

    * Market Research & Insights

    * Conduct market and user research to understand customer needs, behaviors, and trends.

    * Translate insights into actionable strategies that enhance user experience and partner success.

    * Campaign & Performance Management

    * Manage digital campaigns across the marketplace ecosystem.

    * Analyze performance data to optimize product listings, campaigns and improve ROI.

    * Partner Relationship Management

    * Own and nurture relationships with key marketplace partners.

    * Strategic Planning & Execution

    * Develop and implement joint business plans with partners to drive mutual growth.

    * Identify strategic opportunities and operational improvements to enhance marketplace performance.

    * Platform Expertise & Enablement

    * Serve as the marketplace expert with deep knowledge of platform capabilities and business levers.

    * Educate partners and internal teams on best practices and platform innovations.

    * Cross-functional Collaboration

    * Work closely with internal to execute initiatives and deliver results.

    * Data-Driven Decision Making

    * Use data and insights to inform strategy, measure success, and recommend scalable solutions.

     

    We offer a dynamic blend of personal flexibility and a thriving in-office environment. This role requires three days of in-office presence per week, with two days for remote work.

    Key Skills for Success

    * Creativity: To develop innovative campaigns and compelling content.

    * Analytical Skills: To interpret data, measure campaign performance, and make informed decisions.

    * Communication: To craft persuasive messaging and build strong relationships with customers and partners, internally and externally

    * Strategic Thinking: To develop and implement long-term marketing strategies that drive sustainable growth for the marketplace.

    * Brief, enable and collaborate with Sales, Clients, IBM Service Partners and/or internal stakeholders.

     

    Required technical and professional expertise

    REQUIRED EXPERTISE

    * Readiness to travel 20% annually

    * Fluency in English

     

    Preferred technical and professional experience

    PREFERRED EXPERTISE

    * Experience in Ecosystem, creating and implementing successful marketing plans, leveraging a range of tactics and technologies within budget, and on time

    * Ability to work with cross functional and multicultural teams

    * Ability to align to set goals and objectives, while being able to quickly pivot based on business needs

    * Understanding of technology products, sales cycles, and solution positioning

    * Working knowledge of salesforce CRM ideal and IBM’s analytics tools

    * Ability to leverage data to make market aligned decisions to support go-to-market execution

    * Ability to communicate effectively to key stakeholders (Senior leadership in Sales and Marketing, internal and externally
