The BCBST Security Operations Center is looking to add a Security Specialist experienced in monitoring access control, cameras, dispatching, and writing incident reports\. The Security Operations Center provides support, safety, and security throughout the entire Enterprise\. Safety for our people and assets is our number one goal\.

In this role you will train and learn the various systems and tools that are used daily\. You will have the opportunity to earn your UAV license and become part of the BCBST drone program as well as working alongside our professional staff\.Candidates must have a current State of Tennessee Unarmed Security License \(or be able to obtain one within 90 days of hire\)\.Attention to detail, teamwork, and integrity is a must\.

**Note:** The SOC is a 24/7, 365 operation – you’ll likely work nights, weekends, and holidays in this role\. There are three shifts available; SOC Specialists are not guaranteed to be locked into one specific shift\.

Job Responsibilities

+ Direct effective responses to emergency and non\-emergency incidents\.

+ Receive, evaluate incoming information, disseminate, and recommend responses for potential and actual threats to the enterprise\.

+ Analyze data to help mitigate threats and escalate and report by delivering correct, complete, and concise communication through diverse modes\.

+ Participate in incident reviews and root cause analysis\.

+ Maintain and improve understanding and skills for all SOC tools and resources

Job Qualifications

_Education_

+ High School Diploma or equivalent

_Experience_

+ 1 year \- Experience in Corporate Security environment or a history of emergency responses, analysis, and application of data/information for the development of effective responses\. Delivering emergency and non\-emergency responses in public safety or private environments\.

_Skills\\Certifications_

+ State of Tennessee Unarmed Security License is required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire\.

+ Knowledge of applicable Information Security regulations including HIPAA, CMS, PCI, MAR

+ Extensive knowledge of ASIS International, OSHA/TOSHA regulations, current life safety codes

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office \(Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint\)

+ Proficient oral and written communication skills

+ Proficient interpersonal and organizational skills

+ Valid driver's license

+ CPR/AED Certifications at hire, or obtained within 6 months of accepting the job offer

Employees who are required to operate either a BCBST\-owned vehicle or a personal or rental vehicle for company business on a routine basis\* will be automatically enrolled into the BCBST Driver Safety Program\. The employee will also be required to adhere to the guidelines set forth through the program\. This includes, maintaining a valid driver’s license, auto insurance compliance with minimum liability requirements; as defined in the “Use of Non BCBST\-Owned Vehicle” Policy \(for employees driving personal or rental vehicles only\); and maintaining an acceptable motor vehicle record \(MVR\)\.\*The definition for "routine basis" is defined as daily, weekly or at regularly schedule times\.
