As our HIM Associate, you will deliver exceptional customer service to patients, healthcare professionals, and payors while upholding the utmost confidentiality for all patients. Your daily tasks will involve preparing, scanning, and organizing medical record information to ensure the completion of health information and data. Your role plays a crucial part in maintaining accurate and confidential health records.

Here’s what you will experience working as an HIM Associate:

+ Receive, review, and process applications for birth and death certificates.

+ Verify identification and documentation to ensure legal compliance and authenticity.

+ Enter and update vital records information in secure databases.

+ Maintain confidentiality and security of all vital records.

+ Respond to inquiries from the public, funeral homes, hospitals, and law enforcement regarding records.

+ Work with physicians, coroners, and other professionals to obtain accurate details and timely submissions.

+ Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and document imaging.

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $16.00 - $21.88 per hour . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
