NTT DATA Services currently seeks a** **Software Asset Management Analyst** **to join our team working on a long-term temporary assignment, 100% Remote US based.

Job Summary:
The Software Asset Management Analyst will review software in the healthcare IS environment, help determine if it is still needed, and then recommend that the software either be removed or sent through the approval process.
Job Duties:
Operational Support:
- Maintain software inventory and license records using systems like ServiceNow, Flexera, or similar SAM tools.
- Track software lifecycle from request to retirement, ensuring alignment with organizational policies.
- Assist with onboarding, renewal, and offboarding processes for licensed software.
Software Request & Approval Workflow:
- Coordinate intake, routing, and documentation of software requests.
- Ensure completion of necessary reviews (e.g., security, architecture, EULA/legal).
-Monitor SLAs and follow up with request approvers and reviewers.
Compliance & Governance:
- Support audits and license compliance checks.
- Identify and help remediate unauthorized or unlicensed software in the environment.
- Work with governance teams to enforce policies and flag violations.
Reporting & Analytics:
- Generate reports on software usage, license allocation, compliance status, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Provide data-driven insights to support renewals, vendor negotiations, and optimization efforts.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Liaise between IT, security, procurement, legal, and end-user departments.
-Provide support and training to end-users on software request processes and compliance requirements.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
-2–4 years of experience in software asset management, IT operations, or business analysis.
- 2-4 years of experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow), SAM tools (e.g., Flexera, Snow), and asset lifecycle processes.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively across teams.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is **54.00 - 57.00** . This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
