    The Role

     

    The CCR Digital team is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our growing technical organization. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in designing, deploying, and maintaining reliable, scalable, and secure cloud-native infrastructure that supports our internal software solutions and services.

     

    You’ll work at the intersection of software engineering and operations, driving automation, observability, and continuous delivery across environments. This position reports to the Principal Software Engineer, and you will collaborate closely to uphold a culture of technical excellence, reliability, and continuous improvement.

    Responsibilities

    + Design, build, and maintain highly available and scalable systems using Kubernetes and ArgoCD for container orchestration and GitOps-based deployments.

    + Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.

    + Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions to ensure system reliability and performance (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar).

    + Collaborate with software engineers to optimize applications for performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.

    + Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.

    + Improve system resilience through fault-tolerant design, incident management, and root cause analysis.

    + Drive adoption of DevOps and SRE best practices, focusing on automation, continuous improvement, and service reliability.

    + Participate in on-call rotation to ensure high availability and rapid incident response.

    + Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineering and operations teams.

    Minimum Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

    + 2+ years of hands-on experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Infrastructure Engineering.

    + Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and distributed systems.

    + Proven experience with Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting) and ArgoCD (or similar GitOps tools).

    + Proficiency in at least one modern programming or scripting language: Python, Bash, Go, Java, or NodeJS.

    + Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, ADO Pipelines, or Argo Workflows.

    + Familiarity with monitoring and alerting frameworks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.).

    + Working knowledge of database and messaging systems (Kafka, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake)

    + Understanding networking fundamentals, security best practices, and automated testing for infrastructure.

    + Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

     

    Compensation: The salary range for the position is $120,000-150,000 plus bonus and benefits. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
