Job Summary and Qualifications

The Transportation Supervisor is responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities of the patient transportation department. The Supervisor is responsible for participating in hiring decisions for open positions. Also, day-to-day and shift-to-shift assignments will be overseen by the supervisor. The supervisor shall monitor productivity and react appropriately to improve productivity and assess employee performance. Disciplinary recommendations shall be made at the request of the director on a situation to situation basis. Staff scheduling shall be maintained by the supervisor with the approval by the department director. The supervisor will act in a mentoring capacity for all new and established employees. Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, and PC skills.

What qualifications you will need:

+ Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

+ High School Graduate / GED
